La Voce is sub-Saharan Africa’s leading Italian weekly community newspaper that has a hard copy, digital and social media presence with a footprint in Southern Africa, neighbouring countries, New Zealand, Australia, North & South America. Established in 1974, it represents the voice of Italians in Southern and neighbouring Africa and registered as an NPO in October 2010 with NPO Number: 084 253. 

 AIISA (Association for the Information of Italians in South Africa) are Regional Associations that bring the Italian Community together, there are 20 Associations under AIISA. Within the ambit of AIISA they decided to start a weekly newspaper to provide local and international news to the Italian community in sub-Saharan Africa. Support is by means of the Italian communication department, members of AIISA, local companies advertising and subscribers. Subscription to the digital newspaper is FREE. AIISA is run and controlled by a Committee of members, of which Mrs. Francesca Cristaudi is the President of AIISA and the Editor of La Voce.
